You MUST connect it to a low-voltage 12V transformer (if replacing a GloBrite you likely already have one in place) or a Life-Bulb Smart Control System. DO NOT connect this light directly to a standard 120V power source, as doing so will instantly and permanently damage the LED unit.

  • 1.5-Inch Nicheless Fitting: This light is engineered exclusively for standard 1.5-inch wall return fittings and small nicheless pool openings. It is a direct physical replacement for Pentair GloBrite® and similar 1.5" nicheless setups.

It connects seamlessly to your existing Pentair automation or manual switches, offering a high-performance replacement at a fraction of the OEM cost.

Q: Can I install this 12V light into a fiberglass, vinyl liner, or gunite pool? A: Yes! As long as your pool uses a standard 1.5-inch wall return fitting, this light will work flawlessly across gunite/plaster, vinyl liner, and fiberglass pools.

Q: Can I connect this 1.5-inch nicheless light directly to a 120V power line? A: Absolutely not. This is a low-voltage 12V AC/DC light. It must be wired into a 12V low-voltage transformer or our Life-Bulb Smart Control System. Connecting it directly to a standard 120V home circuit will instantly fry the internal LEDs.

Q: How do you change the light colors if I don't have a Pentair automation system? A: No automation system is required. You can cycle through all the built-in solid colors and vibrant light shows simply by toggling your pool's standard manual wall switch off and back on within 1–2 seconds.
