• LINE VOLTAGE ONLY (120V): This is a 120V light. It is designed to connect directly to standard 120V line-voltage power sources. DO NOT use this light with a low-voltage 12V transformer system.

• Smart Control System Incompatibility: Because our signature Life-Bulb Smart Control System features a built-in step-down transformer, this 120V light is NOT compatible with the Smart Control System. Use standard wall switches or Pentair automation instead.

• Niche Size Compatibility: This is a small 6-inch fixture designed exclusively for standard small inground spa and hot tub niches, including Pentair IntelliBrite 5G Spa, Pentair SpaBrite™, and similar small niches. It will not fit a standard 10-inch large pool niche. Please verify your existing niche dimensions before ordering.

Q: Will this 6-inch light fit in my standard pool light niche? A: No. This is a small-diameter 6-inch light specifically engineered for inground spa, hot tub, or small fountain niches. For standard, large 10-inch pool niches, please see our standard pool light listings.

Q: Do I need a transformer to install this 120V spa light? A: No. This is a standard 120V line-voltage light. It connects directly to your home's 120V power line. If your spa system currently runs on a 12V low-voltage transformer, this light will not work and you will need a 12V model.

Q: How do you change the colors without an automation system? A: You can easily flip your existing spa light wall switch off and back on within 1–2 seconds to cycle through the different color modes and pre-programmed light shows.
