Niche Compatibility: This fixture is designed as a universal replacement for standard large inground pool light niches, including Pentair Amerlite, Hayward AstroLite, and similar major brand niches. Please verify your existing niche dimensions before ordering.
UPGRADING FROM AN OLD 120V POOL LIGHT?
Modern pool safety standards favor low-voltage (12V) lighting over traditional 120V lines. If your current pool light is 120V, you can easily upgrade to this energy-efficient 12V Life-Bulb by installing a standard 12V pool transformer at your equipment pad.

Q: Can I use this 12V pool light to replace a 120V pool light? A: Only if you install a 12V low-voltage transformer first. Connecting this 12V LED light directly to a 120V circuit will destroy the light and void the warranty. Always check your current transformer voltage before installation.
Q: Is this light compatible with Hayward or Jandy niches? A: Yes. While it is fully compatible with Pentair and Amerlite niches, the universal physical dimensions allow it to fit into most standard large 10 inch inground pool light niches, including the Hayward AstroLite series.
Q: How do you change the colors without an automation system? A: You can easily flip your existing pool light wall switch off and back on within 1–2 seconds to cycle through the different color modes and pre-programmed light shows.
