The pool lights work great! Perfect replacement for the globrights that all failed within 4 years. Bonus, they are way less expensive than them too. Easy to install and plenty of cable length for the job. The true test will be 5 years from now if they are still working. But if not, they have a lifetime replacement warranty, so still far superior if that does happen.

Great item! I did not want to spend any more money with Pentair. Their GloBrite product is expensive and doesn't last more than a few years, and their MicroBrite product is just as expensive and comes with mixed reviews. I was so happy to find an alternative that would fit with the same housing. The Life-Bulb product is a easy to install, a perfect fit, and I love that they stand behind it for life*. I personally find the lights to be the perfect brightness for my pool, but I have a smaller pool. They are not as bright and the MicroBrite lights, and they are not dimmable without a controller. Side note: Do yourself a favor and buy the lubricant to apply to the wire before pulling it through from the pool to the panel. I could have saved myself an hour if I knew about this simple step! Overall, great product and I highly recommend. (*Limited warranty after one year, but still better that anyone else)

I purchased these lights to replace 2 lights that were unreliable and had gone bad again in a short period of time. The lights are a direct replacement for the existing lights that were installed in the pool. I was drawn to the lights because of the warranty. Replacements of pool lights can be costly, so having lights with extended warranty features is great. The lights are plenty bright to light the entire pool. The replacement was straight forward and they fit the niche perfectly. There were some questions about the lights and their pattern, and the customer service department did a phenomenal job of responding quickly and answering all questions. The lights work with the current system’s light control sequencing just as advertised. The lights also come with plenty of cord for installation. Both lights were packaged well and arrived in perfect condition.

I bought one lamp in later part of August after my son, and I installed the Life light I was amazed at the brilliance. I then bought two more replacing the burned out globright"s that were left. These lights fit perfectly in the existing globright housing.

Bought 2 of these to replace the failed Pentair Glo Bright which were quite a bit more expensive. The lights worked exactly as the original as far as connecting to the Pentair transformer leads and working with the software. They have been in service now for over 4 months with no issues. What I will say is make sure you know what you are doing. I had to make one of the cables longer than 100' due to the way my pool is installed. Splicing is not easy, but I was able to solder (not use butt connections or other connectors) and shrink wrap a piece of the old cable to make length. Using butt splices or other connectors meant the cable got stuck in one turn or another. So make sure you know how to make electrical connections before starting. But the lights fit in the holder at the pool just fine, work great so far, and are much cheaper than the Pentair replacement.
