What is the best LED replacement for Pentair and Hayward pool lights?

Can I replace my Pentair GloBrite or 1.5-inch niche lights with Life-Bulb?

How do I change my pool bulb without draining the water?

You do not need to drain your pool. Most pool light housings are designed to be removed from the wall with a single screw. Because Life-Bulb fixtures include generous cord lengths (up to 100ft), you can simply pull the housing out of the niche and set it on the pool deck to replace the bulb safely.

How do I choose between a 12V and 120V pool light?

Safety Warning: You must match the voltage of your existing transformer. Installing a 12V bulb into a 120V socket will destroy the bulb instantly, and a 120V bulb will not light up in a 12V system.

• Check the Label: Look at your old bulb or the label inside the light housing to confirm the voltage.

• Transformer Check: If your light is connected to a transformer box, it is likely 12V. If it's wired directly to a switch/breaker, it is usually 120V.

How do I control my pool lights with my smartphone?

Why is my pool light remote not responding?

RF signals can be blocked by water and metal housings. Try these "Pro Tips":

1. The Antenna Trick: Hold the remote against the wall switch; the house wiring helps carry the signal.

2. The Waterproof Bag: Place the remote in a sealed plastic bag and hold it underwater directly in front of the light lens.

3. Switch Control: If the remote is unavailable, flip your wall switch OFF/ON within 2 seconds to cycle through color modes manually.

How do I reset or sync my color-changing pool lights?

To sync multiple lights or reset a "stuck" color, use the 30-5-2-5-2 sequence:

1. Turn the light OFF for 30 seconds.

2. Turn it ON for 5 seconds.

3. Turn it OFF for 2 seconds.

4. Turn it ON for 5 seconds.

5. Turn it OFF for 2 seconds.

6. Turn it ON. The lights will now be synchronized.
