The BOT will continue to run even after the sun goes down until the charge is depleted unless you turn the unit off.  The BOT will auto start on the next day after a few hour of  the solar panels (1) being exposed to sunlight.

NOTE: If your pool is not exposed to full sun it is best to first charge the BOT with the AC adapter.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Issue 1: Front propeller doesn't turn

First check for debris in the propeller and clean out if necessary. If no debris is present, fully charge the Bot with the A/C adapter. Once fully charged set the Bot on the ground and press the ON/OFF button to turn it on. See if the front propeller rotates. If it doesn't then you will need to open the Bot to inspect the propeller. Click HERE to download the instructions.

If you find that the gear on the propeller has broken you will need to contact customer service for a replacement. You can click HERE to go to our customer service link and submit a help desk ticket.

Issue 2: Rear propellers don't turn

Check for debris in the propellers and clean out if necessary. If no debris is present, fully charge the Bot with the A/C adapter. Once fully charged set the Bot on the ground and press the ON/OFF button to turn it on. See if the propellers rotate.

Issue 3: Not responding after turning it on

The battery may not be fully charged. Fully charge with the A/C adapter. NOTE: you can also charge the BOT in the sun. However, you will need to have the BOT in full sun to do so. Once the aquired charge level has been reached the BOT will start.

Issue 4: Will not turn on

If the Bot was completely submerged underwater it may affect the performance. Set the Bot right side up in the sun to dry out then try starting it up again.

    Issue 5: Won't change direction

The Bot went directly into a wall or blind spot. Wait approximately 3 minutes and the BOT will reverse and then go forward again.

Issue 6: Won't run at night

The Bot will charge during the day when exposed to sunlight. If the BOT did not get enough sunlight during the day to charge the battery it will stop. You will need to charge the BOT with the A/C adapter.

Issue 7: No response when charging

The battery has run to low. Charge with A/C adapter. After approximately10 minutes the charge  will slowly increase and start to register.
